Previous shows drew in over 500 artists with a staggering number of visitors! 11/11/09--17:53: Remis Takes First Place at the Dublin Tattoo Conve (chan 2065940)

Remis took home a First Place Award at the 7th Annual International Dublin Tattoo Convention 2009. The sought after trophies are colourful skateboards, beautifully customised by Ollie Sweetman of FTW.

Remis took First Place for Best Sleeve. A Vampire story, with a detailed castle, vampire, graveyard and a semi-clothed woman of course! We’re very happy that months of planning this tattoo and obviously months of tattooing paid off! Thanks also to Silvana for coming to the convention and showing her amazing sleeve!

Remis would like to extend a big thank you to Paddy O’Donohue and Megan of Bodyshock for all their hard work organising the convention, we had a great time!

On the Tattoo Boat, which cruises between Stockholm and Turku (Finland), there is a 100% focus on the art, culture and lifestyle of tattooing.

In March 2007 the very first Tattoo Boat cruise set sail and was a huge success for all involved and it has been going strong ever since.

The fourth annual TattooBoat will hit the ice cold water of the Baltic Sea on 11-12th of March 2010, for a 24 hour tattoo convention with a difference!

May 2010 – Hollywood, CA

In the month of May Remis will be tattooing in the charming little town of Hollywood, California! For two weeks he has the honour of guest spotting at Kayden Creations a studio that has been established since 1996. Remis will be working alongside the talented artists Andy, Bok and Clifton. June 25th, 26th & 27th – Midleton Tattoo Show, Cork

Remis will be tattooing once again at the 11th Annual Midleton Tattoo Show in Cork. This year it will be held at the Midleton Rugby Club. For being one of the more personal tattoo conventions, it certainly isn’t short of talented artists and enthuisists. I had the honour of being nominated for Best International Artist this year at the Skin Deep Tattoo Master Industry Awards 2010. There were some amazing Artists in the category so he was genuinely shocked when my name was announced as the winner!

Also, Tattoo Jam and over 200 of the artists there managed to break the Guinness World Record for the most people being tattooed simultaneously! Fantastic weekend at a great convention – Thanks to Shelly, Dee, Wendy and all the Tattoo Jam staff for all your hard work!
